PLANTING SEEDS OF POSITIVTY 

 

Modern life is full of stress and pressure from the sources and technology we surround ourselves with. Most things we see on social media have the undertones of 'you're not good enough, you need to have this'. whilst this helps towards consumerism, it does not benefit our mental health. It is easy to compare ourselves and feel like we are not doing enough. That we are not enough.

 

Many adults do not understand how the brain works and the principles of the mind. No one was taught how to control the mind, practice mindfulness or that thought create feelings, and feelings affect our behaviour . This has lead to the rise in antidepressants and suicides in recent years. It is our mission to teach children how to deal with stress, how to practice self-love and tools they can use in life situations.

We dedicate our class time to 'wellbeing sessions' where we learn these skills for a better future.
